  • Flashcards are a time-proven way to increase vocabulary for any subject. As each session begins, Flashcards will automatically select the precise words you need to increase your subject comprehension and teach them in the fastest and most direct way possible. The front of each flashcard displays a high-frequency word for you to see and hear. The reverse teaches you important information about the word such as the definition, part of speech, and collocations to help you confirm the meaning and usage. These flashcards will help you steadily increase your vocabulary size and quickly achieve higher overall performance in your subject.

  • How to use Flashcards

  • 1. As each word is displayed, think about the meaning.
    2. Click ‘check it’ to see the correct definition on the backside.
    3. If you were correct, click ‘yes’ to confirm. If you were incorrect, or if you were unsure, click ‘no’.
    4. If you know a word perfectly, click ‘remove it’. That word will be removed and counted as fully learned.

    Note: By changing the settings you can focus on different aspects of word knowledge.

    The flow of your target words is controlled by a spaced repetition database maintained exclusively for you in our online server. Each target word will be repeated at least five times, at gradually increasing time intervals, over a minimum 90-day period.
